There are different techniques to blend eyeshadow. The good news is that a lot of them are really easy to learn for beginners. The even better news is that we’re here to show you the natural way to blend eye shadow. Palettes at the ready, let’s begin!
Step 1: Prime time
Apply primer to your eyelids.
Step 2: Go for a shiny, shiny base
Using a pigment or a creamy eyeshadow stick, apply a very light colour to your eyelid, stopping at the crease. Blend using your finger.
Step 3: Apply a darker brown tone to the outer corners of your eye
As we are going for a natural look, the tones we’re going to opt for are going to be earthy and subtle. Go for a medium brown, apply it to the outer corners and blend with a fluffy brush. Keep adding a blending if you want the look to be slightly stronger.
Step 4: It’s time to highlight
Using a highlighter or a very light eyeshadow in your palette, highlight your brow bone just underneath your brows as well as the inner corners of your eyes. Blend, blend, blend.
Step 5: Apply white eyeliner to your inner eye
Line your waterline using a white eyeliner pencil. After this, line with the medium brown eyeshadow underneath the waterline. Blend the colour in – this will make your eyes look even bigger.
Step 6: Final touches
Finish the look with mascara on your top and bottom lashes.
