What should you do if you have dry skin and dehydrated skin?

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, and the right daily skincare routine can help you get plump, radiant skin, and prevent dry and dehydrated skin.

The most important thing is drinking enough water to keep your skin hydrated.

Also, you can apply heavy moisturizers or serums containing hyaluronic acid to retain skin moisture.

For dry and dehydrated skin, you are recommended to exfoliate your skin once a week to remove dead skin cells to allow better absorption of moisturizer. Remember to avoid using skincare products containing harsh ingredients and over-exfoliation. A long and hot shower/bath can also make your skin dry and dehydrated.

Applying sunscreen regularly can protect your skin from harmful UV rays and avoid dehydrated skin too.

You should also avoid smoking and drinking alcohol which will dehydrate your body.

Air conditioning and central heating will make your skin dry. You can use a humidifier to increase indoor humidity.
